Pricing questions, answered

Everything you need to know about Kitcast pricing, plans, and billing.

What is the difference between Starter and Pro?

Starter ($7/screen/month, annual) covers core publishing, scheduling, multi-platform playback, 500+ templates, AI content generation, offline mode, and all apps and integrations. Pro ($10/screen/month, annual) adds enterprise governance — SSO/SAML, SCIM provisioning, MDM integration (Jamf, Mosyle, Kandji), REST API access, audit logs, and zero-touch deployment. Both plans include unlimited users, unlimited storage, and 24/7 live support.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Kitcast offers a 14-day free trial with full access to Pro features — SSO, SCIM, MDM, REST API, audit logs — no credit card required. Install on Apple TV, Android, Fire TV, BrightSign, or use the web player, pair your screen with the dashboard, and start publishing in minutes. You can keep using the same devices after the trial ends.

Can I switch plans or cancel anytime?

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade between Starter and Pro at any time from your dashboard — changes take effect immediately and billing is prorated. Cancel anytime; you'll keep access through the end of your billing period. Annual plans can be converted to monthly at renewal. There is no cancellation fee.

Do you offer discounts for education and non-profits?

Yes. Verified K-12 schools, higher education institutions, and registered non-profit organizations get special annual pricing on Starter and Pro plans. Contact our team with proof of eligibility to receive your discount code. Many universities, school districts, and faith-based organizations run Kitcast on the education program.

Are there volume discounts for large rollouts?

Yes. Organizations planning to deploy 50+ screens qualify for volume pricing tailored to the rollout. Contact our sales team with your screen count, location plan, and timeline — we'll provide custom pricing that scales with your deployment. Larger commitments unlock better rates and priority onboarding support.

What payment methods do you accept?

Kitcast accepts all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) for monthly and annual plans. Enterprise customers can pay via wire transfer, ACH, or purchase order with custom invoicing. Billing is handled securely through Stripe.

Are there setup fees or hidden costs?

No setup fees, no onboarding charges, no per-user fees, no storage overages, no marketplace fees for apps and integrations. The per-screen subscription is the total software cost. Hardware (Apple TV, Fire TV Stick, BrightSign, etc.) is purchased separately and works on any plan.

What's included in Enterprise pricing?

Enterprise is custom-priced and includes everything in Pro plus a dedicated Customer Success Manager, priority support SLAs, white-label and custom branding options, guided onboarding and team training, custom integrations with engineering support, security questionnaire completion, PO-based billing, and flexible contract terms. Best fit for organizations deploying 100+ screens or with specific compliance requirements.

How does Kitcast pricing compare to OptiSigns, Yodeck, ScreenCloud, and Rise Vision?

Kitcast Starter at $7/screen/month is among the lowest entry prices in the category. Kitcast Pro at $10/screen/month includes SSO, SCIM, API, MDM, and audit logs — features that ScreenCloud reserves for $30/screen/month and OptiSigns reserves for $45/screen/month Enterprise (minimum 25 screens). Yodeck starts at $8 with free hardware on annual plans. Rise Vision starts at $10 with K-12 focus. See full comparisons: vs OptiSigns · vs Yodeck · vs ScreenCloud.

What hardware do I need and how much does it cost?

Hardware is purchased separately and is one-time cost. Kitcast runs on Apple TV ($129), Amazon Fire TV Stick ($35), Android TV boxes ($30-$200), BrightSign players ($200-$500), Samsung Tizen and LG webOS commercial displays (built-in, no external player), Mac mini ($599+), ChromeOS, macOS, iOS, or any web browser. Most teams start with Apple TV or Fire TV Stick for the best price-to-reliability ratio.
