Casino signage is meant to be eye-catching and sparkling. Big video walls, ribbon screens, interactive boxes, self-service kiosks, and custom-made installations. There are many awesome examples of casino and resort digital signage. In each case, adding this technology to the venue brings more engagement and boosts sales. Let’s have a tour of the most impressive casino signage.
1. World’s largest sportsbook at Circa Resort & Casino Las Vegas
Why: here’s one of the most spectacular casino signage examples. Boasting 98 million pixels, the sportsbook video wall is a superb addition to the guest experience at Circa Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Provided by Darktronics, it ensures a seamless engagement and big resolution to show all sorts of content. The LED screen is, in fact, a six-display installation.
But Circa didn’t stop there. The resort complex also installed a 41-foot-high by 135-foot-wide outdoor screen with a 15HD pixel layout and freeform technology employing a 25-millimeter pixel spacing. Not only is it a high-technology casino digital signage, but the display also gives Circa a place in the LED landscape of Las Vegas.
2. Choctaw Casino & Resorts 94-foot long video wall
Why: Choctaw Casino & Resort in Durant, OK collaborated with SNA Displays to install an attention-grabbing casino signage at the venue’s sports bar called The League. The screen has a resolution of 1,440 x 11,520 pixels, measures 1,116 square feet, and is curved on each side for a more immersive experience.
Such a high resolution and a perfect visibility factor ensure that the guests have the best view from everywhere in the bar. Also, here it’s about effective content management. The content can be shown on the whole screen, or be segmented through the different parts.
3. Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Outdoor LED in Tulsa
Why: it’s not only the indoor casino signage that matters, the outdoor medium is as important. Darktronics showed a masterclass in bringing top-notch LED solutions to Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It serves as a welcoming beacon to step inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and also works perfectly as a brand awareness tool.
4. Fremont Street Experience canopy
Why: technically, Fremont Street Experience is not a casino in the classic sense of the word. It’s a section in Downtown Las Vegas that became the latest neon-filled attraction of the Sin City. However, considering that 7 casino resorts are currently located within the Fremont Street Experience we can confidently say that the digital canopy here is among the most striking examples of casino signage in the world.
The marvelous screen installation features 2.1 million lightbulbs and 49.2 million LEDs. It is designed and implemented by Watchfire Signs and Viva Vision. Fremont Street Experience isn’t only a visual attraction, the content is shown with the sound show thus making it an ultimate immersive entertainment experience. That, in turn, leads to increased foot traffic at the local casino. So we can call it the next-gen outdoor casino signage example.
5. Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino marquee pylon display
Why: the best casino signage is the one that makes you stop and stare. This is the case of Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino’s collaboration with Darktronics. The iconic entertainment and accommodation complex on The Strip has installed an eye-catching marquee pylon display.
The screen is 76 feet high by 101 feet wide and curved. Another screen was also deployed coming with a barrel curvature and measuring 57 feet high by 34 feet wide.
